News Event on Taliban poison-in class work

What's being discussed in this article?

This article is about hundreds of girls getting poison in their school in Afghanistan. The victims all got very sick and were taken to the hospital. The Taliban does not believe in girls getting education and they banned it when they had power between 1996 to 2001, so it is most likely they attacked the girls' school with poison. However they also though it could of been a mass hysteria where one person saw another person ill and they got shocked and felt the same way.

When did the event happen? (Is this breaking news or something that's been analyzed and discussed for a while?)

This event happen on the 25 of August 2010. This is news that has been analyzed and discussed for a while because at the end of this article they list a bunch of classroom attacks with the same problem.

What questions do you have that would help make this article make more sense to you? What more so you need to learn about to be able to report on this event?

The question I have on this article is why do they think it could of been a hysteria and how was the hysteria caused by? Where the other classroom attacks real attacks too or was it just a hysteria?
